Karolina Drobotowicz
Karolina Drobotowicz is a doctoral researcher in the CRAI-CIS research group. She has conducted research in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), software engineering and ethical AI. Her dissertation focuses on trustworthy AI services in the Public Sector, therein service transparency, inclusion and civic empowerment in public AI service design. She studied Computer Engineering and Robotics at Gdansk University of Technology and M.Sc in Human Computer Interaction and Design at Aalto University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. She previously led the citizen engagement stream in the Citizen Trust Through AI Transparency project supporting the City of Helsinki AI Register. She co-organized the Feminist Futures Helsinki hackathon and facilitated CRAI-CIS seminar in autumn 2021- spring 2022. In 2022 she was chosen for the Top 100 Women in AI in Poland list.
