John is an accomplished AI/ LLM Engineer and consultant with extensive experience in leading and delivering impactful AI and data projects. He excels in identifying strategic AI business opportunities and translating them into scalable solutions. With a strong focus on management and leadership, John has guided cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of AI and data initiatives, aligning user needs with business goals to achieve measurable outcomes. 

John joined the Critical AI research group to support with the design and implementation of a ten week seminar for MSc and PHd students on “Designing Trustworthy AI Systems and Practices”.

Exploring the broader organisational and societal impact of AI and data systems was a core part of his major in Digital Ethics, Society & Policy at the university. Prior to this John has also delivered lectures on the topic of Data Privacy & Digital Commons at the Limerick School of Art & Design.
